These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SinaumeSync's website, engineering calculators, and resources (collectively, the "Service") at sinaumesync.com. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility
By creating an account, signing in with Google, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, and able to form a binding contract under applicable law, to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.
2. User Accounts
Accounts are created exclusively via Google Sign-In; SinaumeSync does not support or store email/password credentials. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the Google Account used to sign in and for all activity that occurs under your SinaumeSync account. You agree to notify us promptly if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. No Payment or Premium Plans
SinaumeSync is free. Every calculator, engineering reference, and downloadable resource is available to any signed-in account at no cost. SinaumeSync does not process payments, sell premium plans, or issue license keys, and does not collect or store any payment information.
4. Digital Product Policy
eBooks, templates, and other digital resources are delivered electronically at no charge, for engineers to use freely.
6. Use of Engineering Calculators
SinaumeSync provides calculators and reference tools for piping, process, mechanical, instrumentation, HVAC, and utilities engineering, generally based on publicly available standards such as ASME, ASTM, and API. These tools are provided for informational, educational, and preliminary engineering purposes only.
You may use the calculators to support your own engineering work, studies, or internal evaluations, provided you comply with these Terms and do not misrepresent the Service's outputs as a substitute for licensed professional engineering judgment, sign-off, or certification.
7. Engineering & AI Disclaimer
Important: Calculation results provided by SinaumeSync are for preliminary reference and educational purposes only. They are not a substitute for review, verification, and sign-off by a qualified, licensed professional engineer. Users remain solely responsible for independently verifying all engineering calculations before relying on them in real projects, designs, or decisions.
Engineering calculations depend on inputs, assumptions, applicable codes, local regulations, material certifications, and project-specific conditions that SinaumeSync cannot fully account for. You are responsible for selecting appropriate inputs, applying the correct design codes and safety factors for your jurisdiction and project, and obtaining qualified professional review before any calculation is used for construction, fabrication, procurement, or safety-related decisions.
The SinaumeSync AI engineering assistant generates responses using a large language model and can produce incomplete, outdated, or incorrect information, including confidently-stated errors. AI output is not reviewed by a licensed engineer before being shown to you and must be independently verified before any real engineering, financial, or safety decision relies on it. 8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to reverse engineer, attempt to hack or bypass security controls, spam, abuse the AI assistant, automate scraping of our database or calculator outputs, resell our content, upload malware, exploit vulnerabilities instead of reporting them, or attempt payment fraud. 9. User-Generated Content
If the Service allows you to submit content — such as comments, saved calculation notes, or feedback — you retain ownership of what you submit, but you grant SinaumeSync a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, and use that content to operate and improve the Service. You are solely responsible for content you submit and confirm you have the right to share it. We may remove user-generated content that violates these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy without notice.
10. No Warranty
The Service, including all calculators, resources, and content, is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or uninterrupted/error-free operation. SinaumeSync does not warrant that calculation results will be accurate, complete, current, or suitable for any specific engineering application.
11. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, branding, logos, calculator interfaces, original written content, and underlying source code, is owned by SinaumeSync and protected by applicable intellectual property laws, except where third-party standards, open formulas, or public-domain engineering references are cited. You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from the Service's interface, branding, or original content without prior written permission. References to ASME, ASTM, API, and other standards organizations are for identification and educational purposes only and do not imply endorsement by, or affiliation with, those organizations.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SinaumeSync and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or project costs, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including any reliance on calculation results or AI-generated content without independent professional verification — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
In any event, SinaumeSync's total aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount, if any, you have paid to SinaumeSync in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
13. Account Suspension
We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy, engage in abusive, fraudulent, or unlawful activity, or remain inactive for an extended period, subject to applicable law.
14. Changes to the Service
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, including individual calculators, plans, or resources, at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Indonesia, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise.
