Steam, the way it actually works on a plant.

Almost everything on a steam system is the same handful of ideas wearing different hats. A boiler adds enthalpy to water; a turbine takes it back out; a trap drops condensate to a lower pressure and some of it flashes; a return line claws back the heat that's left. Learn to read enthalpy and entropy off a table and you can follow steam around an entire plant without memorising a single extra formula.

That's the thinking behind grouping these tools. They aren't ten unrelated calculators — they're ten views of one energy balance. The quality calculator tells you how wet your steam is; the flash calculator tells you how much of your condensate is about to become steam again; the turbine calculator is just an expansion with an efficiency bolted on. Because they all draw from the same steam tables, the numbers stitch together: the h you get out of one is the h you feed into the next.

A word of caution a senior engineer would give you: tables are discrete, real life is continuous, and interpolation fills the gap with a straight line. That's accurate where properties change smoothly and least accurate near the saturation dome and the critical point, where the curves bend hard. For a first pass and for understanding, this is exactly the right tool. For a guarantee figure, go back to IAPWS-IF97 directly and have someone check it.
